Hamilton Code Clubs came out of a need, identified at the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce ‘Innovation and Technology Committee’. The committee identified a growing problem within the ICT sector– a job skills miss-match, unless addressed, will significantly impact the overall health and prosperity of this booming industry.

The IEC of Hamilton and Software Hamilton took the lead and developed this innovative program to help bridge the ICT skills shortage gap by engaging community tech mentors, teachers, principals, parents, and most importantly Hamilton students.

This grass-roots project could only be possible with the financial support and business partnerships that we have formed to continue to build our momentum – developing our future tech talent.
